Obama's Speech
Barak gave a speech on Tuesday morning expressing thoughts about race in America, largely in response to extensive media coverage of comments made by his minister.
I wasn’t able to watch it live, but I’ve caught the highlight reel. The reaction in the media I’ve seen seems to be very positive so far. What’s the reaction around here?

I saw most of it and was very very impressed with how he spoke as well as addressed an issue that as far as I am concerned Knowbody ever has done in such a tactful way. Again he addresses every person in regards to race, racism and anger as a result of historicle events and current ones. Not just at the black angle. This is the strong appeal in Obama for me. When he speaks to crowds he offers respect and consideration to everyone even people who flat out oppose his stances. Remember how tactfully he dealt with the anti abortion groups that studded one of his rallies early on in the game? He offered them a personal invitation to sit down with him to hear them out. Who does that?
I have heard some negative remarks about the speech but they were from mostly republican and unfortunatly in my eyes racist individuals. Really to bad for them.
